For inorganic fertilizers, the national average is 560 kg\/ha, while farmers in the Mekong Delta apply an average of 754 kg\/ha, 35% higher than the national average. <\/p>\n<p>According to statistics, the efficiency of fertilizer use in our country only reaches 50% for each type. Due to improper application methods, the amount of fertilizer lost annually is very large: 1.77 million tons of urea, 2.07 million tons of superphosphate, and 344,000 tons of potassium. <\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_The_harmful_effects_of_improper_fertilization\"><\/span>2.
