Dong Thap Mango Festival 2023 Takes Place from April 28 to May 1, 2023

Under the theme “Dong Thap Mango – Elevating Its Position,” the Dong Thap Mango Festival 2023 will take place from April 28 to May 1 at Van Mieu Park Square.

The event is organized under the direction of the People’s Committee of Dong Thap Province, with the Department of Industry and Trade as the main organizer, in coordination with the People’s Committees of Cao Lanh City and Cao Lanh District, along with other relevant agencies

At 8:00 PM on April 28, 2023, the Opening Ceremony of the Dong Thap Mango Festival 2023 will be held and broadcast live on Dong Thap Radio and Television Station.

In addition to various exciting activities such as visiting mango-growing areas, contests for “Delicious Mango,” creative fruit displays, and the culinary competition “Dong Thap Mango – The Sweet Flavor of Homeland,” several pre-event programs will also be held — including the Dong Thap Mango Week at modern retail systems, the “Tell a Good Story about Mango” Writing Contest, the Children’s Painting Contest “Mango Season in My Hometown” on lotus leaves, and the Beautiful Mango Photography Contest, all promising to draw great public interest.

A variety of exciting activities will take place at the Dong Thap Mango Festival 2023.

To welcome visitors and promote the Dong Thap mango industry, the festival will feature a wide range of ongoing activities such as: a mango product and OCOP showcase zone, an exhibition space for the mango value chain, and a business networking area connecting mango products, OCOP items, and Dong Thap specialty goods.
In particular, the virtual reality exhibition space titled “The Kingdom of Dong Thap Mango” promises to offer visitors a unique and engaging experience.

In addition, the festival will host knowledge-sharing sessions and expert seminars where farmers can exchange insights and learn from agricultural specialists. These aimed to enhance the value and sustainable development of the mango industry, elevate the position of agricultural tourism, and introduce the Dong Thap Mango Industry Association.

The festival is expected to highlight the value, challenges, and potential of the Dong Thap mango industry, encouraging farmers to join hands in developing the sector and attracting more businesses to cooperate and invest.
