Viet Nga Fertilizer Shares TRVC Project Rewards for the 2025 Summer–Autumn Crop With Thuong Lac No. 2 Agricultural Cooperative
Date
On June 6, 2026, Viet Nga Fertilizer held the Reward Sharing Program for Crop 3 (the 2025 Summer–Autumn crop) under the project “Transforming the Rice Value Chain for Climate Resilience and Sustainable Development in the Mekong Delta” (TRVC) for the Thuong Lac No. 2 Agricultural Cooperative, Hong Ngu District, Dong Thap Province.
The program was held to recognize the positive results achieved by the cooperative and farmers while taking part in the project, and to demonstrate Viet Nga Fertilizer’s commitment to accompanying and sharing value with its partner units in the low-emission rice production model.

Thuong Lac No. 2 Agricultural Cooperative Receives Its Reward Share Under the TRVC Project Mechanism
In the 2025 Summer–Autumn crop (crop 3), Viet Nga Fertilizer was one of the companies to receive a TRVC Project award, with a recorded total emission reduction of 1,988.64 TONS OF CO2
With this result, the company received an award worth 6,649 AUD. Under the value-sharing mechanism issued by the project, Viet Nga Fertilizer passed on 35% of the award value, equivalent to 29,983,320 VND, to Thuong Lac No. 2 Agricultural Cooperative and the farmers participating in the model.
The reward sharing not only demonstrates transparency in project implementation but also recognizes the efforts of the cooperative and farming households in following the cultivation protocol and applying suitable production solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve production efficiency.
Partners Since the Early Days of the TRVC Project
Thuong Lac No. 2 Agricultural Cooperative is one of the units that has partnered with Viet Nga Fertilizer since the earliest stages of the TRVC Project in Dong Thap Province. To date, the cooperative has completed 3 consecutive crops of the project and is continuing to take part in the following crops, from crop 4 to crop 6. During implementation, farmers have gradually adopted new cultivation solutions, improved fertilizer use efficiency, optimized input costs and helped reduce emissions in rice production.
The consistent results across crops show the real-world effectiveness of the partnership model between business, cooperative and farmers in the transition to high-quality, low-emission rice production.

The project “Transforming the Rice Value Chain for Climate Resilience and Sustainable Development in the Mekong Delta” (TRVC) is now regarded as one of the practical models helping lay the groundwork for the 1 Million Hectares of High-Quality, Low-Emission Rice Project in line with the Vietnamese Government’s direction.
Through direct implementation in rice-growing areas, the project focuses on applying low-emission cultivation techniques, strengthening linkages between farmers, cooperatives and businesses, measuring greenhouse gas emissions and building a value-sharing mechanism based on actual emission reduction results.
Beyond its environmental significance, the project also aims to improve farmers’ economic returns by reducing input costs, optimizing cultivation practices and increasing the value of rice.
According to the implementation plan, the TRVC Project now has only its last 3 crops remaining. This is an opportunity for cooperatives, farmers and participating partners to access new technical solutions, receive support policies from the program and take part in the value-sharing mechanism based on emission reduction results.
Through its partnership with the project, Viet Nga Fertilizer hopes to continue working with cooperatives and farmers to expand low-emission rice production models, helping to improve production efficiency and develop sustainable farming areas in the Mekong Delta.
Each reward presented is not only recognition of farmers’ efforts over a crop season but also motivation to keep maintaining and scaling up effective production models, toward a green agriculture that develops sustainably and adapts better to climate change.
