The Journey to the TRVC Project (Part 1): Beginning with Cooperative No. 2
In the initial phase of the TRVC Project implementation, Viet Nga Agri and the Thuong Lac Agricultural Cooperative No. 2 have established a close and transparent partnership, making significant contributions toward the project’s shared goal of sustainable agricultural development.
Accordingly, TRVC (Transforming Rice Value Chain for Climate Resilient and Sustainable Development in the Mekong Delta) is a project implemented by the Netherlands Development Organization (SNV) in collaboration with Vietnamese partners, spanning the period from 2023 to 2027.

The TRVC Project aims to support enterprises within the rice value chain in expanding the application of advanced production technologies. Its core objectives include enhancing economic value for smallholder farmers and stakeholders, improving rice quality, promoting social values, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions to protect the environment.
In Dong Thap Province, Viet Nga Agri highly appreciates the positive impacts of the project and has proactively participated in its implementation — reaffirming the company’s strong commitment to aligning business operations with sustainable agricultural development and climate change mitigation.
In the early phase of implementing the TRVC Project, the collaboration between Viet Nga Agri and Thuong Lac Agricultural Cooperative No. 2 has brought many practical benefits to local farmers.
Some key advantages include: Developing and implementing technical support policies, training, and technology transfer programs specifically designed for farmers. Guiding farmers to apply sustainable rice farming practices such as “One Must, Five Reductions (1P5R)” and “Three Reductions, Three Gains (3R3G)” to increase productivity and reduce production costs. Supporting the adoption of new cultivation methods aimed at lowering emissions and minimizing environmental impact.Building farmer confidence in Viet Nga Agri’s advanced agricultural techniques and sustainable fertilizer solutions. This partnership marks a solid step toward achieving the TRVC project’s shared vision of climate-resilient and sustainable rice cultivation in the Mekong Delta.

Thanks to this close collaboration, Viet Nga Agri is able to promptly support farmers in overcoming challenges, ensuring that the TRVC Project is implemented smoothly and achieves optimal results in the upcoming phases.
With the initial efforts and strong commitments from all participating parties, there is great optimism that the vision of a green, low-emission, and sustainable agriculture is gradually becoming a reality.
